d) Ng5 x h7+ Whether the black king moves left or right this is followed
by Nf6+ and white gets perpetual check - unless the black king ventures
to h8 when (with the kinght on f6) Rh7 is mate! 4 points
e) Ng5 - e6+ after Ke8 there is no good check. 2 points
f) h2 - h3 Stops the back rank mate but loses the rook. 2 points
